Make sure surface is clean from dirt and finger prints.
- Wash hands and dry thoroughly.
- Use spray bottle of plain water or glass cleaner for glass
windows. For Plexiglas or plastic surfaces, use a mild soap
detergent with water. Interior application is recommended.
(Please check with the window manufacturer before applying
window cleaner to any plastic surface).
- Do not get white, paper backing, attached to the decal, "WET"! It
will ruin the decal and the decal will not be able to be removed
from the paper backing).
- Wet area thoroughly where decal is to be applied, as well as the
"shiny" side of the decal,( after decal has been removed from its
white, backing paper).
- After decal has been removed and the glass surface and the
"shiny" side of the decal have been saturated with water, you
may then place the decal on the wet glass surface (glass, tinted
windows, mirrors, shower doors, sliding-glass doors ,store- front
doors, glass tables, cars, trucks, RV's, campers, boats etc.).
- Use a rubber-tipped squeegee or a plastic card (size of a credit
card), to remove air bubbles and any excess moisture from
behind decal on the glass. (A plastic card works better in
removing air bubbles)!
- Start at the center of decal and slide squeegee or plastic card
towards the outer edges of the decal in a clockwise position until
all excess water and air bubbles are removed. After applying
decal, if air bubbles remain, remove decal and start Application
Process over, making sure glass and back of decal are saturated
with water, glass cleaner and/or a mild, soapy water mixture,
before applying decal again. Not enough water will cause air
bubbles to form.
- Wipe off excess water around the outside edges of the decal, as
well as the front of the decal, to remove any excess moisture left.
Use a lint-free cloth or paper towel. All moisture should
evaporate within 24 hours.
- Use same application for all decals, corners, sidelights and full
door panel decals. If at a later time, you would like to remove
decal to have a plain glass window again, or to replace area with
a different decal, simply peel off decal starting from the top.
Allow decal to dry completely if any moisture exists on it, and
then restore it back onto the "original", white, paper backing it
came on and insert decal into original packaging it was shipped
in. Store in a cool place.
- If patterns are to face one another and left and right sides are
not available, apply one to the interior and one to the exterior of
the surface.
- NEVER apply a decal to a DRY surface!
