An Angel says, 'Never borrow from the future.  If you worry about what may happen
tomorrow and it doesn't happen, you have worried in vain.  Even if it does happen,
you have to worry twice.'

1.    Pray
2.   Go to bed on time.
3.   Get up on time so you can start the day unrushed.
4.   Say No to projects that won't fit into your time schedule, or that will compromise
      your mental health.
5.   Delegate tasks to capable others
6.   Simplify and unclutter your life.
7.   Less is more. (Although one is often not enough, two are often too many.)
8.   Allow extra time to do things and to get to places.
9.   Pace yourself. Spread out big changes and difficult projects over time; don't lump
      the hard things all together.
10. Take one day at a time.
11. Separate worries from concerns.  If a situation is a concern, find out what God
     would have you do and let go of the anxiety.  If you can't do anything about a
      situation, forget it.
12. Live within your budget; don't use credit cards for ordinary purchases.
13. Have backups; an extra car key in your wallet, an extra house key buried in the
      garden, extra stamps, etc.
14. K.M.S. (Keep Mouth Shut).  This single piece of advice can prevent an enormous
       amount of trouble.
15. Do something for the Kid in you everyday.
16. Carry a Bible with you to read while waiting in line.
17. Get enough rest.
18. Eat right.
19. Get organized so everything has its place.
20. Listen to a tape while driving that can help improve your quality of life.
21. Write down thoughts and inspirations.
22. Every day, find time to be alone.
23. Having problems?  Talk to God on the spot. Try to nip small problems in the bud.
       Don't wait until it's time to go to bed to try and pray.
24. Make friends with Godly people.
25. Keep a folder of favorite scriptures on hand.
26. Remember that the shortest bridge between despair and hope is often a good
       'Thank you, Jesus.'
27. Laugh.
28. Laugh some more!
29. Take your work seriously, but not yourself at all.
30. Develop a forgiving attitude (most people are doing the best they can).
31. Be kind to unkind people (they probably need it the most).
32. Sit on your ego.
33. Talk less; listen more.
34. Slow down.
35. Remind yourself that you are not the general manager of the universe.
36. Every night before bed, think of one thing you're grateful for that you've never
      been grateful for before. GOD HAS A WAY OF TURNING THINGS AROUND FOR
      YOU.

An Irish Blessing

May you always have walls for the winds,
A roof for the rain,
Tea beside the fire,
Laughter to cheer you,
Those you
love near you,
And all your heart might desire!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
An Irish Prayer
May God give you... For every storm, a rainbow, For every
tear, a smile, For every care, a promise, And a blessing in
each trial. For every problem life sends, A faithful friend to
share, For every sigh, a sweet song, And an answer for each
prayer
.
I pray that each and every person, who had parties or events to attend for St. Patrick's Day,
had a great time and returned home safely without harm. Remember to always appoint a
"
Designated Driver" if you plan on consuming alcohol yourself. Let's not harm others by
not thinking about them as well. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". Let
them get home safe too!!!
I remember when I was a small child and my mother, who was a single parent, raising three small
children and bringing home a secretarial salary, would take us to get our Easter outfit, which included
a ruffled dress, Mary Jane type shoes, a bonnet, small purse and a light coat if it was going to be cold
that year. That's the only time I got new clothes. Since I was the youngest of the three kids, I received
my sister's, cousins and whoever else's hand-me-downs! So it was a big deal for me to actually buy
new clothes. I cherished them so much but I never realized how my mom had to sacrifice to do it.
My mom died at the early age of 51 years old and only in the last 5 years have I reflected back to
remember all the sacrifices she made for all of us and really appreciate them the way I should have
back then. Yet I was too young to know how to really appreciate a sacrifice as a young child. I was
just happy to have new and my own clothes for once!!!
I wish I could have one more day with my mother and father (he died at 64 yrs. of age) and tell them
how much I appreciate all that they did for me as parents. We had a roof over our head, food on the
table, though not much, and clothes to wear on our backs. It was truly a struggle though to make
ends meet. This was their way of telling us how much they loved us because it was never spoken "I
love you and appreciate you" verbally.
In comparison, Christ has done the same thing for us. He had no place to lay his head, was the son
of a carpenter, and His life was not his own but to serve others as long as he could while walking this
earth. He made many sacrifices for the people during his time here. He never had time to rest
because everyone depended on Him for healing, deliverance and love. I'm sure he became very
weary at times and wished He could just rest but he never said "NO" to  faith-based requests. Yet
everyone turned against this kind, compassionate man and his ultimate sacrifice was his death on the
cross. Don't you wish you had one day with Jesus to talk to him and thank him for all he has done for
us. I have good news, He rose again from the dead and  He is sitting at the right hand of the Father,
ready and willing to talk to you whenever you want. His telephone line is never busy!
Easter isn't about bunnies, baskets or eggs. It's about Jesus dying on the cross and resurrecting
from the dead to pay for all the sins we have committed. All you have to do is go to Him and say
you're sorry and your sins will all be forgiven. It's that easy. Come to Christ this Easter season and let
Him fill your heart with so much love and compassion too and thank Him for the sacrifices He has
made for you!
HAPPY RESURRECTION DAY TO ALL OF YOU
